Private Lessons are very important to the full development of our McIntosh Band Program. We have seen over the years how beneficial lessons are not only to the individual student but the overall program. Students who study privately will be able to perform higher levels of music. They will find their audition skills improve greatly. Students who are junior or seniors should study if they plan to audition for a college scholarship. Parents understand that many music scholarships do not require you to major in music. In addition please be aware of how challenging the music is that 4th and 5th period band will be performing this year. These students will find it very difficult to master their music without the help of private instruction. Students who take lessons from the teachers listed may make arrangements to meet the instructor at McIntosh on Monday’s and Thursday’s. You can also take lessons from the instructors at one of their other locations.  The lessons that they teach at MHS will be $25.00 per lesson. You may sign up for lessons that meet each week or every other week. You will make arrangements directly with the teacher regarding payment for lessons.  Contact the instructor through the information listed for further details.
