Studies Showcasing the Benefits of Music & Arts Education
The following show that an education in the arts improves test scores, helps under achievers and improves Math understanding. Music Students also earn more academic awards and exhibit better emotional health.

A Harris Interactive Poll shows that respondents who attained a higher level of education and those who have higher incomes are much more likely to have participated in music education.

A Harris Poll conducted in November 2007 got the editors of ABA Journal of the American Bar Association wondering, so they asked their subscribers, "How Did Music Education Influence Your Life, Career?" The responses are very interesting. Among them, find that a dean of admissions at a law school told students that he loved admitting “musicians, dancers, and opera singers” because they were used to working long hours with little reward in sight.
